Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

fair comment...but the neurosis is contagious and the PR handling has tarnished that club considerably.

I agree. But this is in my opinion a direct result of how the club reacted to the Suarez case. They have made it seemingly ok for idiots like this guy and the guys at the Oldham game to voice their racist views at the games because they have seen the club support Suarez to a ridiculous extent. I don't understand why most Liverpool fans don't see the problem with how the club reacted and what has followed as a result of it.

brick fans, brick manager, lot of fudging racists ...

So tinkled off that they are so far in two cups, can you imagine how insufferable they and the media will be if King Kenny wins something? (even if they come fudging 7th)

I actually don't mind. I haven't been impressed by Daglish so far. I think a cup win will paper over the cracks that should be starting to show by now and he will keep his job going into the next season at the very least. Good thing for us.

How can they tell who or what he is looking at whilst doing this gesture? Is it a crime to stand up and act like a monkey? Don't get me wrong, the guy is clearly an idiot but surely this whole case is a bit of a joke. My friend is a police officer and tells me all the time how many cuts they've faced over recent years, so when I read that this has been handed over to "specialist hate crime detectives' I can't help but think what a waste of time, effort and money this all is. Just let LFC locate his seat number and ban him from the ground and leave it at that. Getting detectives in for a guy pretending to be a monkey? This country has gone mad.

I can't believe I'm going to be supporting Cardiff in a few weeks time...

That would be almost as funny as Birmingham's win last year!

They made a good point on Sunday Supplement this morning (didn't watch it, saw a clip on SSN while ogling Haley McQueen) about how now a player that receives racial abuse on the pitch might think "It's not worth reporting this, I'm just gonna get treated like crap by fans the way Evra did."

Couldn't agree more. Racism is the new "heresy" - the merest suspicion and people want severe punishments for the alleged perpetrator. The guy doing the monkey taunts is a sad case: do that at the Lane and people would think you'd gone crazy. People (fans) can police each other: the idea that a "specialist" team of race hate detectives will try and bring a case against this loser is an extraordinary waste of public resources. Detailed surveillance at football matches gives me the creeps. But then i'm old-fashioned: if Evra thought he was being abused he should have broken the Liverpool player's nose, not gone crying like a little girl afterwards "ooh he said nasty things about me".

This was in response to the torrents of boos and abuse evra recieved.

The idea being, why would a player come forward and stand up against racism if this is the aggro they would get?

Made it clear Evra was the victim here, not the perpetrator as the reaction suggested

Yup, I know, that's the point I was agreeing with :)

To add a bit of context to the screenshot. Looks even worse here.

I went through Kenny's signings with a Liverpool fan at work today. He said he was happy with Adam, Downing and Henderson! I pointed out Downing has 0 league goals and 0 assists, Henderson has 1 goal and Adam has 1 goal, not to mention ?ú35m for Caroll! They are the most deluded fans in the country, maybe the world!

Liverscum are clams. Their fans, Club, Manager, players, every blade of grass, their stadium, their owners, their board - all clams.

the real liverpool is coming out... an actual disgrace....

ITVs coverage is not much better either, they should not have made out saurez to be a victim

if Evra thought he was being abused he should have broken the Liverpool player's nose, not gone crying like a little girl afterwards "ooh he said nasty things about me".

So Evra should have made the Suarez the victim and victor, and got himself arrested, charged with GBH, banned from football for a couple years and sacked by Man U?

Ok then. Id rather grass the c#nt up and win the case, get Suarez banned, and hold my head up high, while Pool fans show the world what a vile bunch they are, after LFC publicly shoots its gonad*s off in the aftermath...personally.
