Hasn't Modric got his heart set on Inter Milan? Not sure why but he basically said he wanted to move there back in the summer. Not sure how things stand with that one now though.

In much the same way that I think it would suit Dembele to go to Serie A, I think it would suit Modric as well.

Older players are really looked after well there, and the league is forgiving on tired legs.

Everton hope loanee Andre Gomes' unwillingness to return to Barcelonawill help to drive down the 25-year-old Portugal midfielder's price as they try to secure his permanent transfer. (Times)

Does this mean Everton havent a deal secured to make it permanent? Long time target of ours, doing well in the league, we might be able to step in?

Looks decent the little I've seen of him. Probably means City will buy him for £75m + £1500000 pw and build a new dressing room to put him in.
Because you can never have to many sitting on their collective arses doing nothing.
    bitter & twisted me? Never!

It's a nice city, slow paced league and a quick trip back to Croatia

Looked good when I've seen him (which isn't a lot), not sure if he'd actually prefer to join Everton though if they've helped rebuild his confidence and career. I don't think there's a guaranteed price or anything like that.

Martial is clearly a good player and one I would love to sign he really could help out Kane or play behind him.

Did I read somewhere we had scouts had Everton at the weekend?

Just watching them before the upcoming match, or a player?

This window reminds me a bit of the Saha/Nelson window.

We need one/two heads in to help with the injuries/form/rotation for the second half of the season.

Sadly I think it will be remarkably similar to the last one.
The upside is, it cuts down on any agro about parking space altercation at the training ground.

A CM signing of Moura calibre/profile would be perfect

Looking forward to seeing him in the PL and see what all the fuss is about. :D

I think Pochettino said that the chief scout was at Liverpool v Everton, and that there was going to be a surprise in January. The story, of my memory serves me correctly, was about Liverpool supporters celebrating Arsenal’s third goal against us. I think Pochettino was talking up how strong we are as a team that opposition fans now revel in our defeats, as they see us as a true rival at the top.

Like Alderweireld at SCBC? I think players are sharks, generally, and dont hold much for sentimentality.

If we wanted him, and Everton didnt have a deal/clause already, I think we could get him.

Thats the food chain. In exactly the same way it looked like we were getting Kovacic after chasing him forever and instead he lands at Chelsea...

    IT BEGINS!!!

    Rabiot's wages are a non-starter.
