Transfer Tittle-Tattle

What is this Anderson like? We've been linked for ages and seems he's not that pricey by today's standards and is a deal we could seal I'm sure. Maybe we have other targets but Toby will definitely be off so if he's our main man I hope something is being worked out.

There was this Tah (or similar) in Germany we were linked with as well who sounded pretty promising.

Italian guy in my office was speaking about him yesterday, he said he’s excellent and would be gutted to see him leave (Sampdoria fan).

Tottenham said to have offered €19m plus Vincent Janssen to sign playmaker
By Sport Witness -

21st June 2019

According to a claim in the Turkish media, Tottenham Hotspur have made a move for Fenerbahce playmaker Eljif Elmas.

The youngster has been linked with Spurs in recent months following claims in April the Premier League side were close to getting a deal done.

Fotomac have reported on what they say are the latest developments with regards to Elmas’ future, with a number of big clubs in Europe chasing the 19 year old midfielder, including Tottenham.

It’s claimed the North London club have offered Fenerbahce €19m plus Vincent Janssen, to try and reach agreement. Janssen has recently been linked with a return to the Super Lig after his loan spell with Fener during the 2017/18 season.

Tottenham should expect to face competition from Atletico Madrid and Sevilla for the Macedonian international.

Fenerbahce signed Elmas from his boyhood club Rabotnicki in 2017 for €180K and subsequently the Super Lig are set to make a big profit on the player.

He is under contract at Ulker Stadium until June 2022.

Apparently they have made a counter offer of €19m...

20.06 BST: Tottenham are prepared to sell full-back Kieran Trippier for £25m and are bracing for an offer from Juventus, the Telegraphreports. The funds raised by the sale of Trippier -- as well as potentially Christian Eriksen, Danny Rose and Toby Alderwiereld -- would be used to finance Spurs' forays into the market, where they've targeted Tanguy Ndombele, Nicolo Zaniolo, Donny van de Beek and Ryan Sessegnon.

So basically we'd be selling 3 of our 4 starting defenders and using the money to sign... no defenders. Where do they come up with this nonsense?!

And if were willing to sell Trippier, why would we be bracing for an offer? We'd be welcoming it. I give up.
