Bear in mind how good this Ipswich side were and that Eric Gates was probably the shortest player in the division at 5.5 :D
 
Stumbled across this episode of The Big Match on ITV the other night showing our FA Cup quarter-final game at WHL in 1979, back during Ardiles and Villa' first season at Spurs.

I just love the Timmy dancing bit, Oh and Harry playing the guitar.
 


This bloke makes decent videos. I didn't think I could still get angry and sad about the end of the Redknapp era, but he managed to make me feel angry again. :mad: Why did we have to be the team that fell in such a grotesquely unfair way?
 
The intro to that video (coming out of the tunnel) was a player I really enjoyed - Tuncay Sanli. He would really have worked in this high octane Poch team. Could even have been back-up for Kane. Think he's plying his trade in Dubai somewhere now (obviously over-aged for our needs).
