**** Tottenham v Poocastle ****

Football really is a quite simple game (when you get it right).
Play the right players in their right position, and we suddenly looked like a proper team!
Look at the difference in average player positions in the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game, compared to the brick show vs the goons!

But as I need on repeating the brick show at arsenal wasn’t new
We have done that there many, many times
I do agree though playing the right system works wonder and it’s not rocket science

If either PEH or Skipp are out I'd like to see Dier step into CDM (we've plenty of options for CB). He's the closest we have to those two.
Think it would be a disaster to see Dele or Ndombele shoved in there. Lo Celso would be next choice.
Good call

I see your point, but note they are essentially the same if you swap out 20Dele (b2b) for 29Skipp(DM) and if Kane moves 10 yards forwards

Should have been able to create more in the second half imo. They were wide open and we got into good areas with relative ease.

Periods of playing low risk is fine when possible. But a two goal lead will easily turn into a difficult spot if a goal is conceded at any time. Luckily they were down to ten men when they did get the goal so wasn't much of a threat.

When moura and ndombele play togetner in midfield its hard to see any pattern and system as they are both very random in terms of their positional awareness. I think the trick is to play them close together like 5-a-side football to get the most out of them, and also allowing the rest of midfield retain some shape or system to support quicker and more efficient turnarounds and attack.

Just read the guy with the heart attack is ok
Slightly disappointing that the family have chosen to give praise to everyone other than the two players who arguably made the key interventions that saved his life but at least the Dr is getting a lot of credit

There were fans (heart specialists) in the crowd who did the chest compressions and assessments, and they already had a defibrillator in that stand as well, so Reggie and Dier didn't particularly help save him, other than to draw everyone's attention to it.

You sure but the defrib?
I saw the physio or dr run over with it
And the dr in the crowd didn’t get there until after the players stopped play

The Defib was definitely ran across the pitch from the dug out area at the demand of Eric Dier.
It was, and that wouldn't have happened without the game being stopped. However, I'm sure I read a quote from either the A&E doctor or the team doc saying that the medics at the scene already had one out. Better have two than none, obviously.

They may be the case but certainly not what I saw
But again, I wasn’t there

I think it was either the doctor himself who said they already had one

Or it was Alli Gold

Or it was Dier who said he apologised to the physio after the game for shouting at him

Like most of us, he couldn't believe the physio was not racing to the rescue

But they already had a defib there afaik, so they didn't need the other defib.

That’s impressive
I did read they didn’t have one in the ground other than pitch side so that’s much better than was communicated
Surely by now they should be in any large gathering of people
