Probably because they know we'll never score, they'll break away, score, and win.

I think we need to let loose with a few outside shots (just don't tell Townsend).

Nice pass from Bobby there. Kane should have taken it down.

We're like a sparkler on bonfire night

Starts off all exciting, whizzing around everywhere... then you get a bit bored with it... then it fizzles out

I sometimes wonder if we and Soldado would be better off with him as our 10 instead of our 9

Trouble is with Townsend and Dembele in the side we will struggle to create anything. Can anyone tell me how 1 dimesional Townsend is getting game for a prem side. I just dont get what managers see in him. Perhaps they hope that one of his shots will actually go in some time.

Cue Townsend and Dembele scoring tonight lol

happy with the half. Stambouli our best player, followed by Lennon although he should have done better with his chance

    Are you being sarcastic?

We have created absolutely nothing. All of our passes goes to the feet instead of into space. Our attacking players are stationary (apart from Soldado). We are extremely easy to read and eventually it all ends with a poor shot from 30 yards against two lines of defence. Christ, we've even reverted to the old recipe of success: corners being taken by Lennon (that was sarcasm).

This Brighton team is looking far more threatening on their breaks, and they have won a whopping 2 out of 14 matches in the championship.

It's been pretty f'ing far from "encouraging"!

Well that weren't quite the confidence boosting battering of lower league opposition I was hoping for... roll on the 2nd half goalfest...

We're not creating much, that's for sure, but not playing horribly bad either. Davies, Stambouli, Lennon, Soldado and Kane have all been trying and doing some decent stuff. Dembele passing back every time he gets the ball.

Agreed. It was a good 15 minutes out of the blocks and then we reverted to type and have been dull and boring for the rest of the half. Not a good sign at all, and not the level that should be expected at home, against a weak team like Brighton.

Will be very interesting to see if Poch gives them some fire at half time.
