Watching the U19s is not good for my blood pressure.
    They don’t look very good!

Just remember it is about the individuals improving to get to the standard of first team quality. How they play with their team mates, do they track back, do they show tactical awareness do they have skill with both feet. The team winning or losing does not make any difference.

Nah they got worse as the game went on.
Excellent for 20 min then they looked like they lost their edge!
I know all the youth football platitudes. They where pants in the second half against 10 men.

Well if they follow the money and stay at Chelsea they wont have careers. They should leave, the is a lad at City defender in the England under 20 team who is not getting games who is another that will probably leave soon.

    Ratings vs PAOK U19s

    https://www.football.london/tottenh...ttenham-player-ratings-teen-midfield-15855782

    Brandon Austin
The Spurs keeper had nothing to do in the first half until he cannoned an attempted clearance off a PAOK attacker and was fortunate the ball fell back at his feet. His first save of the game came on 63 minutes when he tipped over a looping header from Michailidis. 6

    Tariq Hinds

The right-back had plenty of opportunities to get forward but it was in his defensive work where he impressed. 7

    TJ Eyoma

An imposing performance from one of the team's two players with first team experience. He marshalled the back line well. 8

    Brooklyn Lyons-Foster

The young centre-back got up and powered home a great header to open the scoring for Spurs early on. He volleyed home from White's free-kick minutes later but the referee made Spurs' retake the set piece and he couldn't repeat the trick. Defended well and ended up as the match-winner. 8

    Malachi Walcott

The 16-year-old did what he needed to well in the back line before being replaced by Maghoma as Spurs searched for a second goal. 7

    Dennis Cirkin

The 16-year-old left-back got plenty of space down the flank early on and in the second half set up Roles with a perfect low cross but the Spurs man hit the post. Belied his years with a battling performance. 7

    Harvey White

Delivered two perfect set pieces early on, one corner for Lyons-Foster to head home and then a free-kick for the same player to volley in, only for that to need to be retaken. Had to take a yellow card for the team late in the first half as he tried to get to a loose Spurs pass. He flashed a shot wide after the hour mark. The 17-year-old midfielder tied everything together in the centre of the pitch and was Tottenham's best player on the day. 9

    Tashan Oakley-Boothe

Shrugged off an early knock and played well in the midfield. He sprinted down the left and sent Roles away for a big chance in the second half which hit the post. Looking more like the player who earned his first team debut last season in recent performances. 8

    Armando Shashoua

Couldn't quite make things happen in the PAOK half but almost gifted the hosts a penalty in the second half with a clumsy challenge before handing them a free-kick just outside the box seconds later. Battled well late on in the game though to help Spurs see out the match. 6

    J'Neil Bennett

Playing as the most advanced Spurs player, it was his deflected shot on the turn that led to the corner Spurs scored early on from. He tested the keeper with a low shot across goal on 20 minutes. He caused PAOK problems and on 34 minutes Tsiggaras was sent off for a reckless lunge from behind on him. Didn't have as much of an impact in the second half. 6

    Jack Roles*

Didn't really come alive until the second half, when he smashed a shot against the right-hand post and had a penalty shout soon after. He then struck the other post with around 20 minutes to go after breaking clear of the defence.* Would have got a higher mark had one of those efforts hit the target. 6

    Paris Maghoma
Came on with 25 minutes to go but couldn't really make things happen as he has throughout the competition. 5

    Rayan Clarke

Came on with three minutes left for Bennett and helped waste precious seconds late on by keeping the ball. N/A

    Jubril Okedina

Replaced Ooakley-Boothe in the final moments. N/A

*Re his second shot to hit the woodwork Roles was convinced the PAOK keeper fingertipped it onto the post and out for a corner. Going by the tv replay from behind the goal I think he was right.

Good to read Bentaleb has matured and admits he was at fault at Spurs and should have listened to Poch.

Only saw the second half when we mostly struggled, so yeah, probably way too generous. Did like the look of Harvey White though.
