** The Tottenham vs Arsenal NLD Official Match Thread **

We've done well to get this far, but I'm sure their opponents will roll over for them like normal.

I really dont see a Cheslea/United/West Ham type performance coming from Saudi Sportswashing Machine. Last home game.Big crowd under the SJP floodlights.

I think they will be up for it, whether it will be good enough is a different argument. Everton on the last day is still an unknown. We will know better Sunday. Leeds simply have to beat Brentford for Everton to still to be in trouble.

But first and foremost. We have to complete Part 2 of our plan at Mid-Day

It's so important that we were able to play the second half at low pace. Considering the ridiculous turnaround to Burnley, this is the best possible preparation to have received

Spot On. We had around 4 or 5 seperate periods of about 2 minutes or more where we just passed it back and to around the halfway line. I could have quite happily seen us do that for 40 minutes.
At times they didnt bother to try and get the ball, we surely conserved a lot of energy in that 2nd half

Interesting, I was just about to post that most on Arsemania seem to be of the opinion that the goons will crumble under the lights at St James' park much like they did tonight.

important thing is that we need to make sure they go to Saudi Sportswashing Machine needing to win, not just needing a point. Agree it'll be tough, especially if Gabriel is missing along with Holding

I do, and fat Frank definitely will

That was enjoyable. :D Watched the game with an Arsenal friend at my place, and he left as soon as the ref blew his whistle. :p

Game was practically over when Holding had his WTF moment, but I loved how fired up we looked - we showed that we took this game seriously, after a bit of initial nervousness. Solid performance overall. Partly because of their sending off, which could be a blessing for us, allowing key players a little extra rest before Sunday.

It's still in their hands, but we did our part. Now lets beat Burnley and all become Saudi Sportswashing Machine supporters.

And that's all we can ask. The players looked up for it, which again, is all we can ask of them. Same again Sunday.

Please Please Please. No Old-School Tottenham where in the past we win the tough game and then struggle in the easier game. Please note I am not saying Burnley will be easy just not as tough.
Then again, the way tonight panned out, Sunday will probably end up being the tougher game. An early goal for us would be brilliant. But I just hope we keep backing the team vocally if we dont get the breakthrough right away. If it takes 88/89 minutes to get the winner so be it.
