    Got to say I'm not a fan of this newfound trend for announcing multi-fight agreements ahead of time. What if one of them blows the other away in a round or two? It's already caused an issue with the unnecessary Fury/Wilder 3rd fight.

    Or have promoters just completely given up trying to hide that money totally trumps the sporting side of things...?

    what’s the incentive for any other boxer who now has to wait a year or more to fight Either?

    Agree too. If it’s for a title the organisation should be able to do something about it, but as always the guaranteed money will win.
    Boxing has turned into cinema in lacking new ideas, causing unnecessary sequels, crossovers and reboots with the old fighters coming back.
