If the ref himself had reviewed those incidents, instead of the VAR monkeys, I'm 100% sure Son would have gotten yellow instead of red.
It's MUCH better and sensible that the on pitch ref takes a look. You are your own biggest critic. Your colleagues are much more inclined to not want to disagree and "protect" and back their colleagues.

If a striker is clean through and it looks offside (but linos flag stays down), the keeper or defender should just take them out.
