The Official 2018/19 Premier League Thread

We either start playing well in October like we usually do, meaning we have a leg up on our normal starts, or we continue to underperform and results catch up with us - international break might be coming at a good time this time around, for a change

Cue everyone getting injured on international duty...

It's just a tad early to be making proclamations, but if this international experience lives up to expectations, Spurs are going to benefit from it immensely.

It's given some players a nice rest while recovering from injuries. It's given Lucas Moura a nice little uplift being part of the Brazil squad again, even if he didn't play in a meaningle$$ friendly against Argentina. Wanyama's only gone and lifted his confidence by giving a good performance for Kenya.

And the England lads? They'll fly home in fine fettle with a chunk of a nice pelt in their pockets.

Hard to imagine a better tune up as the winter grind approaches. This is the time where we separate the buyers from the spiers.

I see United have parked two busses at Chelbrick, somehow they still look defensively frail.

So many of the United players look like they hate being out there.. Would love to see what Martial could do if he were let loose under Poch.

Lukaku touched the ball 9 times in the 1st half
I touched my balls more than that

Hardly his fault, completely isolated from the other ten players camped in their own half... Been much more involved second half now Rashford and Martial are playing as forwards rather than full backs.

Alonso at it again, cheating and faking injury in his own penalty area, Utd went on to score with his man putting it in the net, justice!

He hides behind defenders, it was really noticeable the first half
