I believe they said him and Ox was the best midfield pairing in England, and they should be nailed on to fill those places in the England team o_O

Klopp is full of rage! He needs anger management.

Keown had good things to say about Spurs tonight. Said that we don't have a soft underbelly, that it was just due to being unlucky that we are out of Europe.

    Or 'Cobra' Carragher.

For the record, the picture shows a snake species call a Red Spitting Cobra. They eat rats.

the best thing MOTD has done is to rotate the "analysts", the days when Hansen and Lawrenson were on every week was immediate FFWD material.

Indeed, I though Lampard and Jenas were good on Saturday.

They should rotate Shearer out more often, or permanently. Was much better without him droning on.

I’d rather shearer than Murphy, I think he’s improved a lot.

Pundits really don't bother me that much I'm even mellowing towards Mr Hoddle's 'you don't want to do it like that' ways when he's on co-commentary!

I know it's subjective but I like Murphy and cannot stand Shearer. He is as boring a pundit as he was a player. Murphy is insightful and tends to be more sympathetic to Spurs. Shearer has a particular patronising tone and frown as he rains down pearls of wisdom about the game.

I really like Frank Lampard so far and don't mind Martin Keown. Never thought I would write that last sentence.

Frank Lampard is a stand out pundit for me, he’s really good.

I think Keown just try’s too hard to come across like he’s intelligent, the frown and the pauses suggesting he’s thinking something, when really it’s just a hamster on a wheel in there.

Ha! In a similar vein, Ian Wright has grown on me, you know you’re not going to get an in depth analysis but he’s a likeable character and doesn’t pretend to be anymore than that.

To add some dour scottish pragmatism I can live with Graeme Souness. He gets in because he doesn't play favorites.

generally yes, although if the dippers are involved he's as sycophantic as the rest of them
