Seeing that...you realise that for all our fears of prematurely celebrating and having Sunday's results retributively clobber us, there's far greater justice to be served by simply having Arsenal crumble like this right at the end of the season.

You’d have thought so, but unfortunately @K.D.D.D.D.Soc went all Richard Dawkins on the OMT gods in the match thread, so unless we burn Tom Jones in a wicker badger or sacrifice the UK’s entire custard reserves I don’t think we can count on the normal rules of divine justice applying any more.

The thing that worries me is that they'll sack Arteta in the summer and go for Vieira. Vieira looks the real deal - he's done really impressive things with Palace (who were pretty much everyone's favourites to come bottom this time last year)

I'd be interested to see that backed up - because i don't see why anyone would have thought Palace would have been in a relegation scrap this season.

I did.
They had so many players leave in the summer, we're only a few results away last season from becoming what Everton are this season.
There was no guarantee they'd be able to attract who they needed and even less so that it'd gel quickly - and we've all a squad with lots of changes struggle
