Coming from Northern Ireland I've never really been into cricket, but I was in Melbourne over Christmas and went to the Boxing Day Test at the MCG. I might be a late convert! I had a thoroughly enjoyable day. What's not to like - sun, all day beer, great crowd and occasion. I appreciate that you Poms (I'm an Aussie convert :D) probably won't appreciate it, but Labuschagne and Smith were a joy to watch, even if New Zealand were a bit crap.

I also went to a Big Bash T20, again at the MCG - Melbourne Stars beat the Melbourne Renegades, more great fun in front of 55,500 spectators.

Definitely considering an England game in the summer.

Brilliant 100 from Stokes and a wonderful maiden test 100 from Pope
He looks like Ian Bell in his prime, what a talent

Watched The Test on Amazon Prime
A behind the scene's docu-series about the Aussie team the last 2 years
It's made me realise just how hard on the players top test cricket is and also a lot of the Aussie players are actually not the helmets I thought they were
I really like Justin Langer too

Looking forward to the test matches against Windies, be great to watch cricket without bloody stupid chanting, mindless Mexican wave and tosses moving behind d the bowlers arm.
