As talented as he might be it is clear why he isn't picked to start. He is out of shape. Poch saw it and now Jose does too.

That's the sort of out of the box thinking we need and I agree with on a Friday night having had some wine.

He appeared to be making an effort but now I see why he didn't before.

He was blowing by the 80th minute and he'd only been on since half time.

I thought he covered ground against Bournemouth and actually did better covering than in previous outings.

Guess the best we can hope for is Ndombele wins the match within an hour like van der Vaart used to and can then be subbed for a clogger to see out the match.

His passing is inventive (ie forward:))..and can be deadly accurate so to counter the 'having to run' thing perhaps we can utilise him like one of those automatic tennis ball firing machines.?

(Feed it in his mouth...comes out his foot)

Well in all honesty I'd take 15 minutes of that guile and creative intent over 90 of hare-like running with no brains and one foot from Lamela (even though I'd start him tomm because he is a brickhouse)...

I want him to get minutes, I'm just pointing out how far he is away from being a player that we can rely on.

This is how I feel. Talent is unquestionable, fitness is quite clearly shocking and the reason both Poch and Jose have left him out. Needs to grow up.

If we get a decent right back then we don’t need that donkey Sissoko for cover and we can afford a luxury player like n’dom

How is he not fit? Seriously I can't understand how in one of the best training facilities in the UK, with specialist coaches, dieticians, etc we can't get this guy humming.

I remember someone saying that he is used to being the best player in the league he has played in, but I the EPL he has made I do the physical as well as the skill

that’s pretty amazing if this is true as he’s never been the best player in a league

If he can’t be bothered to get fit why should Jose bother to even give him the time of day.

I don’t think I’ve seen players in pre season games look as unfit and overweight as he did against Bournemouth

Surely we have someone better than Aurier ?

Even just to "do a job"?
Apart from a running style that looks attacking (it's not really), what does Aurier actually provide?
