Love the finesse and composure for that goal, I always remember that Bent miss against Arsenal on the volley early in his career for us. He never recovered from that and clearly did not have the mentality to thrive with us. That was a great sign for the future.
 
Deposed Rose for best debut goal. This was no whack-a-mole fluke. It had to be practiced. His confidence is amazing. He said he wanted to score and he did.

Kudos to Moura for singling him out in between the lines.

Certainly more hits than misses there i'd say!
 
Great goal yesterday and there were a few good pieces of play from him.

Not judging him at this point because it was a difficult game for his debut but he didn't stand out in his general play to the extent that I forgot he was on the pitch at one point. I'd still have the concerns about him that I had before the game.

The midfield rarely played the ball in his direction, the few times he got it he did ok. I recall one moment in the first half were he had Walker I believe in a tizzy. He looks like he does have the quality to beat players assuming he can get involved in the match.
