Steven Bergwijn

There was a lot of rumors in Dutch press yesterday and today.
Not sure if it's serious or just made up bs.
But hell yeah, I'd take Bergwijn in a heartbeat! Very good player!

Faber: “If you don't want to be here, you have to leave. So that was also about Steven Bergwijn."

Left out of the PSV team today.

Cant say that a wide forward is our over-riding priority, however we are short of attackers and he's very Spurs-like in terms of profile - 22 years old, a few international caps etc

Would rather go for Ziyech from the dutch league, although he's out injured for a few weeks.
8 goals and 21 assists in 21 matches is very impressive, amazed he's still at Ajax.

Son is our only decent wide forward so along with pretty much every other position it's one where we need to strengthen if possible

Seems to be a similar output to Ziyech in terms of bare stats. I don't remember much from the games I have seen some time back, but if I recall correctly this lad is rapid.
Maybe with Lo Celso proving his ability he will be used centrally and not be an option on the flanks and so Bergwijn is an opportunistic squad upgrade there?

He is African so may not be flavour of the month with the changes to AFCON
The guy has been class every time I’ve seen him play

I dont disagree. My comment was on priorities. If we could get him, a CF and sign GLC permanently, it'll be a pretty decent window
