It's not to write him off but there was some dark humour in the three mistakes he made consecutively leading to the goal but hey he got his assist and aside from the odd moment he looked solid.

This is such a GHod dam spurs-y way of describing a defender's performance but I get what you mean mate!
He took about 20 minutes to settle, then he was fudging on .. guy is fudging quick, composed on the ball and can cross .. wtf ..

A bit too nervously enthusiastic perhaps to start with but didn’t get fazed by his mistakes and looked very good as the game went on. Can’t wait for him to settle in properly, add Bale to the equation, and we’ve got something special to look forward to.

Could not agree more, for a young player to make his debue against a major rival in a different Country/ game that he is used to, make the mistake for the goal but still go on and show his talent is brilliant for me. Looking forward to seeing him progress, i think we have a star here.

He has super acceleration. Had a great game apart from the rashness but the shot should have been blocked anyway.
The key point is he didn't hide, he fudged up, then decided to make up for it ..

Naive on the goal we gave up but otherwise energetic, crafty and ambitious the rest of the game. Good intro for him as Chelsea were pressing us quite hard in the opening stages. Very encouraging debut.
Now if he can get that cute bird of his to model some Spurs merch - and not too much at one time - we're all set.
