Sergio Reguilón

They are not facts at all. You have no idea on whether or not we wanted both Diaz and Kulusevski. The fact that one plays on the left side and other on the right side may well suggest that the club wanted both.

RB and RWB are very different positions, especially when considering the way that the respective manager's played. RB for Nuno's team was basically an out and out defender. RWB for Conte's team is effectively an attacking player. I agree that we should sell Royale (or actually perhaps loan him seeing as it wouldn't surprise me to see us lurch back to a 4 at the back manager post Conte) and replace him with a specialist wing back (I think we should actually look for a 4-4-2 type right midfield player who is good on the ball - a player like Nahitan Nandez would be perfect IMO - and I think Uruguayan's tend to settle well into the PL).
I am sure we wouldnt have signed bought Diaz AND Kulu. Royale isnt a RWB and as far as I can see, he cant adapt into one. Selling him would be a good idea. Problem is there is no clear target, no clear option for RWB în the market. Just decent ones that may or may not become good players for us. For sure Nandez is one of the possibilities.

A fictional story that you are writing.
Not the story of what actually happened.
I can give you tens of these article by media all over saying the obvious. You just give your own opinion.
Last days panic buys because our previous targets such as Adama and Diaz did not work out. Paratici's relationship with Juve made it happen and we are lucky it worked out the way it did.

We were linked with kulusevski before the window opened so not sure how it was a panic buy.

Ah. I see the problem here.
Just because media outlets might paint something as a last minute panic buy, not considered up until the deadline....doesn't mean that is necessarily so.

We was linked with Kulu at the start of the window, before we eventually signed him before the close and it’s well known Paratici has many options open before he pulls the trigger so nothing about it strikes as panic buying. But hey, if the Daily Fail and Teamtalk are saying we panicked, it must be true:D….

We were linked with him in November

The assessment is on curent form and abilities. It is not done by me, it is done by the coach of Metz. A next to bottom team that will most likely relegate, who believes that this player, which they know better than any of us, better than Paratici, does not have a place în their first 11. You know în the situation they are în, they would use their top players and do no favors. Their is no comparison between him and Gil. Gil went to Valencia and he is playing în the first 11 of a top half team. I am just looking at the facts and try to make an informed opinion. Could Sarr become great? He could, but so could any of our academy guys that be did not spend over 20m on. As for Kulu and Bentancur, they were desperation buys în the last day, but that is a different story.

You are making it up as you go along, IF you really believe that.

We were linked with Kulusevski earlier. Paratici is well known for working on multiple deals at the same time as he finds out what can be done and what would be the best deal. When the Diaz deal broke in the press it became clear we had been working on it for some time. I don't see why the same couldn't be true for other deals.

Paratici would know as much about Kulusevski and Bentancur as reasonably possible for a DoF. Conte too would know them very well having managed in Italy for years and targeted Kulusevski before.

I guess it's a question of definitions. For me this falls well without how I think of panic buys. Late deals, yes, but not panic.

Of course is at the time one didn't rate the two of them at all I guess it seems more like a panic buy. Thus Paratici got lucky when (so far) it's worked out? I guess that's the only logical conclusion if "I was wrong, Paratici was right" isn't an option.

He's 19. Since you brought up Gil he just turned 21. Last season, while turning 20 Gil did play a lot, and well. The season before that he barely featured.

Even with Gil's progression as the benchmark Sarr is doing fine.

Current form, in a specific team, system and circumstances for a 19 year old often tells us very little about where that player will be in a year or two.

He's on course to get more minutes this season than last season. He's consistently getting in the national team squad, even getting minutes as a sub here and there. That's also "facts".

Just give him some time and see what happens.

Hopefully a good sign for the weekend is that he was at the chelsea game last night.

Although he was right in amongst the chelsea fans in the east or west stand

How does watching a football match imply that he's over his injury?

We now know he's still alive. What kind of update were you expecting?

EDIT: Sounds like he is back this weekend but who knows...

T
ottenham’s options at wing-back are set to be boosted by the returns of Sergio Reguilon and Ryan Sessegnon.

Reguilon sat out Spurs’ 5-1 win over Saudi Sportswashing Machine on Sunday with a knock but has returned to training and is expected to be available for this weekend's visit to Aston Villa.

Manager Antonio Conte said last week that Sessegnon was "very, very close" to recovering from a hamstring injury and the England Under-21 international could also be involved on Saturday, having not played since pulling up in the 5-0 win over Everton on March 7.

The return of the duo would increase competition in Conte's squad after Matt Doherty deputised successfully at left wing-back against the Magpies, scoring and then assisting Emerson Royal, who came into the side for Reguilon.

Conte nearly has a fully-fit squad for the run-in, although Oliver Skipp remains sidelined with a pelvis injury and Japhet Tanganga has been ruled out until pre-season following knee surgery.

Ehhhmm....
Totally forgot about this. What a cracking own goal! Absolutely magnificent!

That should have been a great night because fans were back in the stadium, but it was horrible. Kane recently having given the Neville interview, the ESL stuff, anti-Levy/Enic chanting, players refusing to come out for the lap of appreciation. And that great own goal from Reggie. A night to remember for all the wrong reasons.
