Are you saying he was injured,

I just presumed it was because he was probably playing brick again.

That's hardly a blow, is it? Maybe we should go Dutch and put Toby at right back, Jan at left back, and some South Americans in centre back.

    Ottawa, actually.
Damn. Dunno why he gets so much stick, he's probably our best right back, and has generally been solid in the CL.

This will be a loss, just because we'll have to play Trippier more - and that is not an easy prospect to think about, given his abysmal form this season.

Missing a player who CAN play well in a position where we are weak is some sort of blow. Hard Blow? Soft Blow? Definitely not No Blow.

Aurier has been really solid when he's played this season! Anyone saying he's not, need their head examined! He's also provided his fair share of goals and assist too.

His father has just passed away. Even if fit, we may understandably not see him for a little while if there are family matters to attend to.

He’s been solid if unspectacular. More to the point he’s miles better than trippier.

If Trippier starts, it will look a bit like this

    -------------lloris
    trippier---toby---vert---rose
    sissoko
    -------------------winks
    ----eriksen-----dele------son
    -------------kane

I'd sooner drop Trippier, play Sissoko rwb and play a 3rd centre-back.

Just a player that makes me nervous and twitchy at times. He was hyped when he signed only to find that he is above average and the team will not suffer if he is replaced.

We have suffered badly every week when he has been replaced.

Fair enough, I respect that view. However i think we could do with an upgrade and provide real competition if Trippier is to be moved on
