Richarlison

Incredible that he was allowed to play a further 5 games for his club, score a goal in two separate 3-2 wins, which in effect was the difference in keeping them up, a further 44 days later the decision to ban him for his new club is made, 2 months after the initial defence. sexy

Whoever makes these decisions took about two decades to ban Dier for that incident in the stands, so I can't say I'm surprised.

Doesn't make it any less ridiculous, of course. There should've been a meeting the day after the game to decide on a possible ban for the flare episode. It really is that simple. Not that I expect that kind of efficiency from whoever high paid macarons are in charge of this, though.

Poch used to ease new players in didn't he, so no bad thing really. Should get Richarlison more pumped for his debut.

If we can't survive one game without him we're fudged. If we are loaning gil or parrott, could keep them for the game.

Meh.

Good point, next game is Chelsea isn't it? We could do with a player with a bit of motivation and a point to prove when we play that lot.

Given how well Bentacur and Kulu did going straight in not convinced the 18 month settling in period Poch went with was necessary

Think it may have been more necessary under Pochettino than under Conte.

Conte seems excellent at quickly getting the players integrated into his style of play. Perhaps Pochettino's style of high pressing and high line defending was more difficult to get right - and the consequences of getting it wrong are often large.

Defensively at least Conte's style seems easier to get into. Attacking side, outside of counter attacking, took more time here at least. Definitely demanding and even difficult to get right, but still he made relatively quick work of it.

No nonsense.

Surprised he doesn't speak English well enough to do an interview, after how many years (3 or 4?) here.
But pleased with his ambition, really hope it works out well for him.

He does speak pretty good broken English
Maybe at first like Poch he doesn't want to be misquoted so speaks in his native tongue
