    Wasn’t the reason they didn’t boo because the QPR and Millwall players agreed not to kneel before the game? Instead, agreeing to link arms against racism rather than the kneeling symbol linked to BLM that the fans were booing in the first game?

    or did I imagine reading that? Quite possible!

    If there was no kneeling, it's potentially an interesting mind exercise to explain the wildly different reactions to kneeling for equality and linking arms for equality.

    They were saying they were booing the BLM movement which the kneeling symbolised, not anti racism itself. Linking arms wasn’t a symbol for BLM so they agreed not to boo it.

    i can’t remember where I read this, will try and dig it out.

    I'm sure you are right, but they are wrong, the kneeling predates BLM by a long time.

    Just an excuse for a bunch of racists.

    Thats horrific, they should be thrown out and banned for 10 years.

    Gerrard wasn't as vociferous when it was one of his teammates giving out racist abuse though was he.
