Premier League Doping

Can we start a new thread on drugs in the PL. Who has a link or recalls an ex-goon player (forget who but he's in the media) talking about how he would be given a dose each week? Leicester certainly fit the profile of a stimulant athlete. From nothing to the top overnight.

What's not clear is where Arsenal, Leicester and Birmingham clubs names came from? Was the Doc. name dropping these clubs or players from those clubs?
Leicester have some very fit players. But the player who most suddenly rose from nobody to superstar was Harry Kane. And played every minute of every game. And I don't think for a moment he's on drugs.

The point is that the doping we really need to worry about is facilitated by organisations.

And so in football it’s meteoric improvements by teams that we need to be suspicious of, particularly those under new regimes.

Given football is the richest global sport, it would be surprising if some of that money wasn't used to dope players. There were the cases involving Juventus and some Dutch players, but it has to be wider than that. There was the doping trial of a doctor in Spain who was "treating" cyclists where the judge ordered the destruction of samples from tennis players and footballers who had seen the same doctor. We joke about Rio's forgetfulness and going shopping.

Cheating is rampant in the game, from diving to get penalties and play-acting to get players sent off, to cynical fouls and time wasting. Are we supposed to believe that these players draw the line at doping?
