Bale has been much better this season than he was last season and yet he'll probably finish 3rd in the PFA voting behind Van Rapist and Silva.

According to the Chinese media (think they got it from Opta), our top four players who created the most attacking chances (assists) are:

Bale - 62 chances (7 assists)
Modric - 53 (4)
Adebayor - 46 (10)
VdV - 45 (4)

I would say Modric's output isn't bad, as assists rely on teammates' ability to convert them.

Silva is obviously a good player but his assist tally also benefited from playing for bricky. If he was playing for Aston Villa, I doubt his assist tally could reach double digit.
