How desperate and clichéd is that, "they all lie." So we just dismiss it then? Wonder what would happen if Dorothy caught out Milliband in a lie. All hell would break out. Once again...one set of standards for one and another (lower) for others. This is the retort of the partisan hack.

I really hope for his sake that he's just lying to get elected. Otherwise he's retarded.

Closing the tax gap of £34bn is a good aim. And a vote winner when framed in terms of "spivs stashing loads of money off-shore whilst Tories kick the poor."

Well we will wait for ever if we wait for the Torys to do anything about those who avoid paying their share.

They were useful for a protest vote and some sensationalist news coverage.

Now they are being properly scrutinized

There is a ch4 drama on Monday called "what if UKIP win the election"

"Now they are being properly scrutinised." Who by? The status quo's media darlings?

Yeah, Channel 4 are renowned for their totally unbiased political coverage.

Is Natalie Bennett the worst party leader ever? I'm sure she'll welcome my description of her as the anti-Farage, but I don't mean it in a good way. She's awkward, she stutters, absolutely no charisma and most shockingly can't answer even the most basic questions about funding of her parties policies.

Her interview on LBC, being dubbed the worst party leader interview ever http://www.lbc.co.uk/incredibly-awkward-interview-with-natalie-bennett-105384

I'm starting to think she might be Nicola Murray and they're just trolling us all.

It's not entirely her fault though. Anyone would struggle to defend the flimflam their party's been coming up with for the last few years, she's just the only one who's been put on the spot about costing.

My favourite bit about the entire Green manifesto fiasco is not Natalie Bennett's shambolic attempt to even begin to dress up the fact that they've just stuck a load of policies in their manifesto that are not costed, not thought-out, but are less policies and more a kind of "how i wish we all lived in a utopian Eden world where everyone ran about naked frolicking with rabbits and didn't have a care in the world".

No, my favourite bit is the spokeswoman for the Greens that came out aftewards and said, actually said, no no, i mean actually actually admitted that their policies are a load of crap, but the kind of people that vote Green don't care??????
    Blimey.

It was on Sky News when it happened. They were grilling some Green party rep asking if she felt her leader had let them down. Her response was along the lines of "there are more people voting Green than ever before and they're not voting us because they're looking at whether our sums add up, they're voting for us on a point of principle."

Pretty much should have just said "we knocked up our manifesto over a pot-session with Natalie, because we know we're a protest party so we don't really have to have policies.
