Pawson is a clam

I’ve only seen the reds on twitter but it looked like he couldn’t see the foul by foyth and just guessed

Not really his fault. Both red cards were deserved, and he should have sent Dier off as well and given them a penalty

We need to blame our finishing for today as well as the stupidity of Son and Foyth

Yep. I think he realised he should have sent off Dier and "evened" that out as soon as one of our players gave him a chance. Son obliged.

Foyth's was just stupid from him. Might have been a yellow on another day, but he had no business making that challenge given our situation. As it turned out, we might have won that game with ten men.

Do rather wish that he saw the foul on Dele right at the end, but otherwise we got off even.
Or the one on Moura before that, or the handball that preceded that, or that two attempted stamps from their no 8 that lead to our players losing it twice (one ending in a red for Son).

Was pretty obvious the assistant linesman told him it was a red as they tend to do these days, which it was. The only thing ref did wrong was not send Dier off and not give a penalty against Dier.....

Maybe he did and that’s what he is there for

I didn’t see the game but the BBC said we should have a penalty in the last minute and they missed that

A VAR inspired performance, where technically correct, both reds were quite soft and made to look worse by the reactions of the players. Unlike VAR didn't see the pen on Dele or Dier's second yellow. Poor performance from the ref.

If they are technically correct I dont know how you can complain?

With the technical superiority we have we can’t blame the ref. Both reds were justified.

He is the ref that awarded Chelsea that ridiculous offside goal against Cardiff not long ago though, I do wonder why he’s still reffing PL games after that debacle.

How was Foyth's red soft?
