My 8th favourite day of the year. We made so many tonight. Toad in the hole followed by pancakes.

Got into banana pancakes this year. Old bananas - just add them to a pancake mix with baking powder and vanilla - and they make those nice small puffed-up pancakes.

Also been adding coco powder and nuts, can even leave out sugar using the bananas for sweetness.

Not got into savory pancakes yet. Must be some interesting things to try with cheese mushrooms etc.

My son has whipped cream Nutella and orange slices. He is a strange lad, but he loves pancake day as much as me.
