I think after decades of trying, we just have to accept that the specialist back-up CF doesn't work (Llorente arguably aside). 3 RWs who can all do a job up there, one (Son) exceptionally well, seems a much better solution to me.

I also thought its was a fairly unanimous view that Morata just doesn't cut it in this league

Might not cut it as first choice. But off the bench or to give kane a rest i wouldn't mind him.

I dunno. Yes son is great as sn option. The others? Still to be seen.
 
Nah thanks his wages would be astronomical for what Morata would bring to the team.

Honestly I'd rather recall parrott as at least we'd be giving a youngster some experience.

I'd be delighted with Morata as an option. Don't rate him particularly but he's somewhat proven and who will we get that's better with Kane a guaranteed starter most weeks?
 
He was at a more competitive Chelsea and was pretty average. Think Werner but with less style....

How many minutes do you think he'd see for us now under conte? Kane, son, bergwijn, kulu can all play up top. He's at an age where he needs games.

Under nuno maybe. But we're chasing top 4 now.
 
Looks like a player who needs space in front of him to thrive. Something we don't have against 80% of the opposition in the league.
