OMT - Tottenham V Inter Milan

Man of the match

I think we'll play:

Lloris

Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies

Sissoko, Dier

Moura, Eriksen, Alli

Kane

I think we'll start with Moura's pace in behind before bringing on Son and Lamela later on if need be.

I think we'll smash these guys 4-1; Hatrick for Kane plus one for Alli, Icardi for them

After the erection inducing win over Chelsea in the league, we need to concentrate in the CL now. Our performance in the CL have not been really convincing this season. We should have beaten Inter and PSV away but conceded late goals that denied us the crucial wins and then needed the late goal to beat PSV at home. That has caused us to face this must-win match against Inter at home. We have no choice but to beat Inter to keep alive our chances to progress to the next round. Let's hope all our players will be at their best to get the much needed win.

We need all our key players to step up against Inter. We need the likes of Kane, Alli, Eriksen, Lamela, Moura and Son to step up and help us beat Inter. Kane is going to be crucial to us as we play well when he plays well and scores. Similiarly, Eriksen's creativity, Lamela hard work and Moura's dribbling skills can lift us against Inter. Son can come on later in the match to help us.

I think this match will be won or lost in midfield. Our midfield of Dier and Sissoko did really well against Chelsea. Won't mind if we start both against Inter. I think Sissoko is proving to be our secret weapon against our opponents this season. He is improving fast by easy match. But he still needs to improve his finishing. Too bad Wanyama and Dembele are still not fully fit as their experience can really help us against Inter.

Our defence need to play a crucial role against Inter. We conceded 2 late goals against Inter and PSV away which has affected us badly. So, we need to be alert for full match against Inter. It will really lift us if Vertonghen is back from injury to partner Alderweireld in defence. We also need a match winning performance from Lloris to stop Inter. We need to avoid making silly errors and avoid giving away freekicks near our goal.

It is going to be a tense match. Inter won't make it easy for us as they only need a draw to progress to the next round. We need to get an early goal to help us settle our nerves and then go for more goals to kill the game off.

The thing is, can the squad keep a strong mentality, belief and be steadfast in all of these games. its what you have to do to win a trophy and that I should imagine is not easy!
I do hope this Team is gaining in confidence though...confidence makes all the difference...like not missing sitters.

Forgot Lamela, think he'll start up front with Eriksen, Dele and Kane.

Still plenty of seats available for anyone else who fancies attending Spurs’ final ever CL group game at Wembley...

Aaargh, that was annoying. Nowhere near as annoying as losing to Juve last season, mind.

Ours really is this season's Group of Death. Barca, a much better Inter than in previous years, us and a very much in-form PSV. Compare that to Emirates Marketing Project (Lyon, Shaktar, Hoffenheim) and even ManU (Juve, Valencia, Young Boys). The only one I wouldn't swap for is Liverpool's (Napoli, PSG, Red Star).

Anyway, I can see this going one of two ways -- an absolute thumping, like the Bale-inspired performance back in 2010/11, or a cagey match ending in a draw.

U19's are 2-1 up after 51 minutes, which is nice. Only just tuned in so haven't seen what the goals were like.

Yeah, it felt like a continuation of the Juve tie to me!
