There's a complaint in another thread that we haven't exactly reciprocated, dismissing them as a pub team, etc. They did make it awkward first half, albeit that we wasted opportunities as well, but it was always likely that their relative lack of fitness would tell in the second period.

Ive read on a couple of Spurs forums that they have not taken their 45% of the gate and allowed us to keep it. Extra class if true

They did the same last season with rochdale and newport .class act on the pitch and a class act off .good luck to them rest of season and nice to see at least one of the big clubs helping out the smaller clubs

I’m fairly sure that’s not true.
I remember a year or so back when Woolwich played Sutton in the cup (the one with the Pies), there was talk about Woolwich letting Sutton take all the proceeds, but it wasn’t allowed by the FA. Because it could be seen as a form of inducement or, more bluntly, bribery.
