I can see Alli being sledged by Stoke players. How he let his team-mates down.
We need to hurt where it matters, in the onion bag not the testicle sacs.
Our offensive set plays have received a lot of attention, and understandably so, however our real Achilles has been our defensive set-plays.We need a result and Dier needs a rest. I was calling for him to be rested for both the Fulham and Gent games to give him a real break from playing and hope to get his sharpness back. Dembele has also been disappointing this season. To me, he doesn't look as strong and has reverted to his blind alley dribbles with no end product.why doesn't he shoot more?
I hope we have been practising free kicks, corners and shooting low, accurately - and across the keeper ( Yes, I am looking at you Kyle!)
And Son and Kane and Vertongen and Eriksen and Dele.I hope we have been practising free kicks, corners and shooting low, accurately - and across the keeper ( Yes, I am looking at you Kyle!)
Fantastic I still can't go to the Lane due to recovering from Surgery, hopefully the last game I'll miss and don't have SkyThis match is on SkyMix (free SkySports) tomorrow for those that have it.
Ok, my team would be, as follows, due to absence of Rose I would go 4-2-3-1 as Davies can only play as a LB and I don't think we need 7 defensive minded players at home (excluding the keeper) in a 3-4-3, which often seems to be 5-2-2-1.
Lloris
Walker Toby Verts Davies
Winks Dembele
Alli Eriksen Son
Kane
Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Wimmer, Wanyama, GKN, Janssen, Sissoko
Dier gets a rest. If Dembele's hip not up to it then replace with Wanyama and Dier on the bench.
