*** OMT: Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace ***

Sissoko and Hojberg together in CM against such opposition doesnt exactly get the pulse racing either.
Concerning. If we have the lion share of possession Sissoko is not a player for that kind of game. If we intend on playing the same way we have in recent games, ceding possession and position then he can do a job. Be interesting to see what our intentions are.

How many times have we conceded in games like this? And don't think Palace will just sit back a-la Burnley. They'll try to play us more evenly. They are at home, after all. So Sissoko in the lineup does make sense, plus we have enough creativity to score.

I'm intrigued to see what response the squad give if we do concede, it's been a while since we have.

I'd love to see a more possession based strategy today. Palace are decent but they're 12th for a reason. Should be winning this and be in control.

Big game, must win :)

With pool v likely to pick up 3 points today, then game v them and with Leicester to follow, feels like a mini-crunch point in the season.

It’s a bonus that Chelsea, Man U and city have all dropped points already this weekend so would be great to capitalize on that.

I trust Jose to set us up right and we’ve been in v good form, so I’m hopeful.

We have done well to be top of the league for 3 weeks in a row. But we need to keep on winning to stay there. It is very tight near the top of the table now that any dropped points will be costly. We have a good record against Palace in the league, winning 9 and drawing 1 of our last 10 matches against them. But we did draw with them away last season. Let's hope we will play to our best form and get that much needed win to stay top of the league.

Good to see us playing the tried and tested team lineup in the league. But wish Lamela is fit to start ahead of Bergwjin. Let's hope we will put up a good performance and beat Palace to stay top of the league.
