Got great memories of that ground, standing behind goal as rain poured down on us and Big Chiv belting a thunderbolt into the goal in first leg of Eufa cup final.

I don’t actually think it’s a daft ground, but I was committed to the quote from a football “icon”.

I'd rather Kane plays in this than the NLD after his recent performances tbh

I assume by now that Doherty has been thrown into the chipper at Hotspur Way, minced up and spread on the training pitches as fertiliser, so I can't see him starting in a bucket.

So it has to be Tanganga Sanchez Rodon DaviesOrSess as a back 4. Assuming we want to get game time into those guys.

Very hard to judge how strong a team to put out, but if we just throw on all the rejects, we'll probably get beat and the negativity persists into the GoonerDrome.

Markanday has started for the U23s tonight, so I doubt that he'll be involved. Devine, John and Clarke also started and Paskotsi is on the bench.

None of these guys are likely to see much involvement tomorrow.

Let's just do what needs to be done to propel us on Sunday. Usually that would mean exiting this tinpot thing. Sadly, he needs a result. I'd still play this side.

    Gollini

    Doherty
    Rodon
    Sanchez
    Sess

    Emerson
    Winks
    LoCelso

    Moura (if fit)
    Kane
    Gil

swap Kane out for one of Scarlett or Sonny at some point. Kane needs to find the net.

Is Sess even fit though? Fudge.

Emerson in midfield? I’d use Tanganga tonight as he didn’t play against Chelsea, I’d like to think that he can play both matches.

Based upon Nuno saying that we can’t improve in training, but have to rely on matches, then I think he will want to play a strong team each match. I think that Wolves will make more changes than we will.

I think Nuno will want a reaction, otherwise we will be looking at needing a big improvement on Sunday but with no grounds upon which to expect said improvement.
