Angry not disappointed and I can tell you not with Sissoko. Alli, Eriksen and Son need to have a long look at themselves. Kane gets a bye for today.

We massively outperformed to get to the final

Most important thing is that we use this as a platform, invest in the team and kick on

Would be awful if this was the peak and we faded from here

Shame to lose it like that but we can be proud. Needed a bit of luck with both sides playing brick. Pool have a good defence and we didn’t pull out the top noch finishes that were needed

If you are giving us a 3 then I would give them a 2. It was a turgid match but we were the better of 2 brick teams. They were more under par than us tonight. Maybe they wanted to play that way I don't know. But they offered nothing

Every fan. Pool and spurs for sitting through such a brick finals, especially after the assumption of it being a blinder after the quarters and semis

Honestly your witch hunting is awful, Adebayor Sissoko. I have to question whether you support this team. Or are you Arsenal in disguise?

Yet they created more - and looked a lot more dangerous

Useless bunch of clams, fudge the lot of them, didn’t turn up for the biggest game in football, all of the heroics against City and Ajax a complete waste of time.

    Meh, not all that bothered

Biggest target all season was getting into the top 4 for CL next year... this cup run was a lovely bonus

Am very pleased I flew from Alicante to Gatwick earlier, rather than Alicante to Madrid

Imagine being stuck in Madrid with 50,000 phlegm soaked Scousers.

So they are a better squad than us who finished the season in the league with something like 12 wins on the bounce. And we stumbled to the end. That makes a difference.

How disappointing. Liverpool were there for the taking and we never laid a glove on them.

It's been a great season to be honest. When you think most thought we wouldn't make top 4 with no signings, tired WC players and the stadium move.
Full steam ahead for next season now. No excuses next year, we need to improve
