One thing I noticed from the highlights- more progressive and quicker passing from Winks. It was his long forward pass into Alli who then released Son to score the first goal and it Was winks pass out wide to Aurier to cross for Kane’s goal. Good to see young winks actually passing the ball quickly and into danger areas he is more than capable

Winks has had a rough time over the last 12 months or so, firstly a niggling injury and then being asked to play as a deep M/F '( which is really not his game); he looked a lot better in the England game and again against W.Ham in his best ( imo) position.

Watched the match again yesterday, cannot believe that Ryan Frederick's follow through on Son wasnt deemed a dangerous tackle and worthy of a red. Could have broken Son's ankle and there is no way he was in control of that he flew into it!

Also Aurier is a good player but he still has bouts of recklessness. Not sure, yet, if his benefit outweighs his cost.

Aurier is one I am most curious to see what happens with under Mourinho. Hes shown on numerous times he is our best attacking full back and has shown plenty of times that he can defend - yes Ive said it, he's shown he can defend. He's kept many an attacker quiet - its just a shame he then does something ridiculous that then offsets all the good work he'd done. But under Jose Im intrigued to see if he can get a better consistency out of his defending over time, if he can coach Aurier into being more solid on a consistent basis then I really do think Aurier would be a great asset for us....
