Official Kabooooooom Thread

He was immense when partnered alongside King in that season when he got injured. Sadly he's never come close to looking like the same player.

His Spurs career basically ended after that season, in which he was immense indeed. Since then though he basically spend one and a half year out injured, after that he got about a year of playing mediocre football (except for that Arsenal match), and then he concluded with half a year banishment from the first-team... A real shame and a bit of waste, both for him and the club.

To be fair, it was more when he was partnered with Gallas. He's looked distinctively average every other partner he's had.

Since he's injury he's looked awful - the biggest change is that he's seem to have lost his spring....he was always so dominant in the air before but since his comeback he just looked weak. The other change since his injury is speed and movement - he's had the manoeuverability of a steamroller

I had never been convinced of Kaboul ever since he joined us the first time. Always felt he was too error-prone.

Farewell Kaboul. You may have been club captain, but frankly you weren't very good. Harry Redknapp described you as "a late developer" apparently - maybe you will be better at Sunderland. (Didn't you play for Portsmouth once?)

^ i guess there must be something to it if his peers voted him as captain in the summer just gone
