Most of the Sunderland fans are happy for him to have signed.

His Spurs career basically ended after that season, in which he was immense indeed. Since then though he basically spend one and a half year out injured, after that he got about a year of playing mediocre football (except for that Arsenal match), and then he concluded with half a year banishment from the first-team... A real shame and a bit of waste, both for him and the club.

To be fair, it was more when he was partnered with Gallas. He's looked distinctively average every other partner he's had.

Since he's injury he's looked awful - the biggest change is that he's seem to have lost his spring....he was always so dominant in the air before but since his comeback he just looked weak. The other change since his injury is speed and movement - he's had the manoeuverability of a steamroller

I think Kaboul will be remembered more for his winning goal against Arsenal.

Frankly, Kaboul seems more comfortable at scoring goals than stopping them !

Perhaps Kaboul should have been moved up front like Dion Dublin, Chris Sutton and Gary Doherty!
