I can't eloquently explain how I feel about this. fudging oxygen thieves. I am not a violent or vindictive man but I genuinely cannot value the lives of these ****s.

This looks contrived for media purposes. However, the underlying message is very real, a very sad day in society when anyone is judged because of a lifestyle choice which isn't illegal, doesn't hurt anyone and shouldn't affect the people who know them.

Time for the world to move on and grow up I think,

There does seem to be a horrible rise (uncovering?) in this type of behavior in Russia.

Countries need to start putting policitcal pressure on to make the Russian govt either a) take action to change (which is unlikely) or b) publicly nail its colours to the mast. at which point sanction and boycoutts etc need to be undertaken

There's been a lot of talk about this recently, I don't quite know all the the ins and outs but seems that Putin and the Russian government have basically made the LGBT community a target for voilence in Russia, with no police protection etc. Stephen Fry has written a very interesting open letter to Cameron and the IOC about it....
