New Kit?

Got the green kit for my mates boy with Kane and number 10 on the back. Comes with shorts and socks and is very good quality. Stitching and badge are a little off position wise but for £20 delivered it's a minor moan.

AIA will always be red on the home shirt, unfortunately

Genuine Question: based on what? Seem to remember there being some contractual agreement (might be wrong on that) but surely for one "Centenary" Season they could forego that. Think of all the publicity they could get out of it: "For one season only AIA changes its World famous red logo in honour and celebration of its most valued partner Tottenham Hotspur's equally World famous chicken badge"

They're paying millions to increase their brand recognition. Changing their logo to please a few thousand die hard Spurs fans is not going to help them achieve what they are paying for.

Best we could hope for is a one off game marking the anniversary but as milo says they pay top dollar to promote their brand and their logo is what it is

Take all of that on board milo/billy but they're happy for it changing on 2nd and third (fourth?) kits. It's not as though the logo changes (ignoring all the red is a lucky colour in China thing) it's still recognisable as AIA. Coca Cola are happy do it on occasion (Didn't they sponsor Valencia at one point?). Why not AIA?

Also (whisper it quietly) who knows what AIA do? I know insurance  but the point remains that the average Joe doesn't know and doesn't care. Bit like logos on F1 cars, cost millions to be there and people have to Google them (if they even notice them and can be 4rsed) to find out who they are.

I know you're right but we can but dream.

Just take a moment to look at the face of that redneck Appalachian hick. He sure can play a mean banjo but he ain't not never been no futboller.
Incredible that this physical specimen is actually the greatest footballer ever. He looks like he should be chewing baccy and eyeing up his sister on the front porch.

Ain't there some thing that red is a colour of luck /good fortune in Asia somewhere, Cardiff changed their home colour from blue to red a few years because of this.

Didn't last long they got relegated lol....
