Gone to Peterborough on loan. Will be sold in the next year or two, but he has a job on his hands to stay in the football league.

Some of that was because of the treatment he was getting, ruffled a few feathers and was targeted. Much like Barton this season.

Thanks for the replies...mmmm I thought he looked quite a good player in the couple of clips I saw of him on YouTube. It goes to show you have to be consistent to make it as a big time player...

He was very good in pre-season, didn't make the trip to North America and then went on loan to Ranger's. He got kicked up in the air by the defenders out there but also lost the favour of Warburton who was reported as saying that he needed to learn when and where to use his tricks. He came back to Spurs in January but IIRC there have been issues with him regarding a new contract. He wanted playing time and wouldn't sign a new one and for most of the end of last season he and the club were at odds.

nope. he had 2 good games up there then reverted to type... which is garbage so got sent back. same thing happened in league 2 with Luton. same thing happened with Niger u23. theres a pattern here.

I've kept an eye out for him since that amazing goal in Ledley's testimonial.

But he'll be sold down the leagues in Jan or next summer

He might be able to make some sort of career as a youtube football freestyler or something.

    Ottawa, actually.
Good luck to him - I hope his skills match up with the mental side of his game one day, because the lad's undoubtedly talented and eager to make an impact.

I wish he had gotten a chance in the first team under Poch.

He was a showboater. Looked exciting, but wasn't ever really effective. A Jose Dominguez perhaps.

He was out of contract in a few months, so it's a few quid from somewhere where the transfer window is still open.

He could be a late bloomer like a Bolasie type - who had a spell playing for a club in Malta aged 18/19 and then spent the next few years in the lower leagues. Oduwa does have ability but his game is so disjointed, he still plays what many would describe as street football but hopefully this move will be the making of him.

Not effective? Did we give him a chance?

Not if he wasn't ever effective for the U21s, in the Scottish second division, or in League 1/2.

Why didn't we give Kenny McEvoy a chance 12 months earlier? Or even someone who did really well on loan like Grant Ward?
