My first trip to WHL

Little Luka

John Scales
So here we are, after many years, tickets are in my mail. \o/
Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace on White Hart Lane, December 6.
Going to be seated in the Paxton upper.

I've never been to London before, so any suggestions and advice for the day? I understand transport is often an issue around WHL?

Can't wait, I'll probably end up crying like Adam Richman... :D

Enjoy the day hugely, make sure you get there early so you can walk around and take it all in without having to rush

And let us all know what it feels like to get your first glimpse of that magnificent (and very narrow) pitch.

This, most places in London can get to WHL via underground.

My advice, depending on the number of days you are there, go to the ground/store at ground a day before (buy stuff, do a WHL tour), get to do the trip via public transport, see how it goes without the crowds, time pressures.

Taking the bus all the way from King's X can be fun. Just avert your eyes when going through Holloway. After Finsbury Park you should be okay.

Will certainly do the tours, I've been worried for years now I would miss out on WHL before the new stadium is up, but that has dragged out.

Thanks for the advice!

Block 56. Almost as far away as possible from the action. ;)

Edit: Which I just saw is your block, haha.

Its not that bad actually, unless you are sat on the far left of the block (Seat nos 272-280) and once you get further back than say Row 15 and upwards it is a fair distance back

Well, we will be in row 25. It is fine, I intend to return on my own later, and won't have to worry about finding seats next to each other. ;)
