Probably in a minority but I preferred both Michael Carrick and Mousa Dembele to Modric. But none of them could hold a candle to Glenn. I still live the bloke even though he failed as our manager.

fudgein' love this guy, my favourite Spurs shirt has his name on the back. We were lucky to have him.

Saw that goal real time in Spain.

    fudging outrageous.. well done.

Was asked this week if he would follow Bale, said he's too old .. he will probably see out his contract and retire.

Arguably the best Spurs player I've ever seen on a regular basis. I still think we could have pushed on for something serious hadn't the prick Bowyer broken his leg that season.

Tell you the truth, I'd rather have a 31-year old Modric back than a 31-year old Bale. No disrespect to Gary though.

Comparing him to 'The New Modric' Harry Winks makes me sad.

He might lack Dembele and Ndombele’s athleticism but what a Rolls Royce of a midfielder

I'd prefer Modric. More direct and less standing on the ball, doing 360's. Modric plays the ball quicker.

    Easy, it would be Modric.
