Milan Skriniar

BREAKING

Tottenham have opened talks with Inter Milan for Milan Skriniar. He's one of José Mourinho's favourite options as new centre-back.

Any potential deal would not include Tanguy Ndombele. The price tag is currently the main issue, Inter have asked for €60m to sell Skriniar but negotiations are ongoing. ✍

A deal is far from being completed but what an unbelievable coup this could be if Mr Levy pulls it off.

Copy and pasted from a Facebook page. Don't know anything about him either, but he's meant to be good and we definitely need a centre back. Looks pricey though.

Sanchez out for €30 - happy days

If this happens, it's likely to be for either Ndombele (despite what Romano says) or Alli in part-exchange. No other way to get this done.

So, Sanchez stays. He's not all that bad - not great on the air, not great in the ball, more of an individual defender... but fast and strong, which would form a good counterpart to a slower CB who can command the back line/deal with aerial threats.

So he is not quick, right footed and 6.5 tall. Good for the Jose system I guess. We really need a good left footed centre back though.

Long-term we need two CBs. Better to get one decent one in if available, rather than continue with two who aren't good enough even if it means our balance at CB isnt right for a season

Perhaps its just because he's from a small central european country, but he reminds me a lot of Nemanja Vidic. If he gets remotely close to Vidic at his peak, he'd be an excellent signing and the sort of leader we need
