It’s bad news for regarding Bale, Zidane will build the team around him again.

He'll give him to us in exchange for Kane and Eriksen. That's what one internet report said anyway. He also has his eyes on a Liverpool attacker if they can't get both.

Kane and Eriksen for Bale? That’d be an even better achievement for him than winning this season’s Champions League.

Even better is the insinuation that one of Liverpools attack are worth the same as both.

I just posted in the Bale thread, but I believe it will be the opposite, I believe Bale is finished at Madrid now. Zidane wanted him gone and Ronaldo to stay by all accounts which was agreed but Perez went back on his word after Bale scored that overhead in the CL final. With Zidane now back I can't see him agreeing to include Bale in his plans.

Today Hazard, Eriksen and Kane are the big targets with Firmino, not Ham Salad, as a backup for Kane. Tomorrow it will be a completely different group of players. I did like the fact that Eriksen and Hazard were both said to be going for €125 million.

    Thats my take.

He saw the writing on the wall, knew they needed an overhaul, and didnt have the clout to make it happen.

I would expect in negotiating his return, having had his point proven, he was able to secure the power/concessions he wanted originally.

He was doing interesting things there, bringing through youth and building more of a team.

Now Ronaldo is out, the other galactico types are ageing, and his (presumably) new found power he may well have the chance to finish that job.

I read that meant Bale and Modric could be on their way, looks like that dream I had around 18 months ago which had them being unveiled at the new stadium under a ‘Welcome Home’ banner might still be on!!

Don't see Levy or Poch going for Bale or Modric.

    Wages would be a killer!

What are you doing out of uniform, Mr Spock? And the Enterprise is clearly rolling, so why aren't you all pretending to stagger to your right and back again?
