Isn't that why they sacked him? They hadn't won since boxing day.

Not sure where you‘re getting your info from, but it’s 5 wins, 5 draws and 5 losses since their Boxing Day win. Mixed bag but not really sackable I wouldn’t think with the team safely in the play offs?

Think it’s no win at home since Boxing Day. It still feels a harsh sacking, can only think they have a ‘name’ lined up. Maybe big Sam?

5 defeats since Boxing Day is poor for a side chasing promotion

It's also poor for a side chasing a CL place, even outsiders for the title.

Then they should sack their manager too

    Thats just bloody stupid.

Moore has been doing a fine job there, no reason to sack him at all.

And he'll be personally gutted, he loves that club.

What for? So Allardyce can come in? Or Moyes? fudge that - if I were a WBA fan Id much rather Moore.

Stupid move on his behalf. Mind bogglingly stupid. I always suspected he'd gotten a bit lucky at Madrid in the CL and wasn't all that anyway but now he's going into a club that needs massive reconstruction. He's about to be found out big time. I'd bet the mortgage that he's not still manager in 12 months.

Well that would be an achievement no other manager will ever be able to replicate!

I know the football authorities have bent all sorts of rules for Madrid in the past but that’d be spectacular.

I thought Zidane had played a blinder leaving when and how he did. He must have been offered a huge transfer budget and full autonomy on ins and outs which apparently is what he asked for before leaving. So maybe he’s played another blinder, no doubt with a huge pay rise to boot!

The laws of physics don’t even apply to Zizou, let alone the laws of man.
