I was really disappointed that Last Blood wasn't called Rambo No. 5

    Nice.

It would have fit with the films strange sequence of titles.
Starting with First Blood in 1982, the sequel was called “Rambo: First Blood Part II”.

Strangely, the next film was just titled “Rambo III” - despite at that point there never having been a Rambo 2. (And ‘Rambo 1’ effectively being ‘First Blood 2)

The 4th Instalment was simply titled “Rambo”. So this is possibly Rambo 1. Again. But coming after Rambo 3, and the other Rambo 1. First Blood appears to have been forgotten about totally.

Apart from the film which sadly missed the Rambo Number 5 gag, entitled “Rambo: Last Blood”. So dropping out of the previous 1, 3, 1 sequence and retaining Rambo, whilst alluding to First Blood with the Last Blood play on words.
So it’s Rambo Part V First Blood III Last Blood.
