Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

FIrstly they are a league rival so why would you be shocked that people are not liking them or jumping to their defense? Should we all be jumping on Chelsea, United, West Ham, Arsenal threads and celebrating their results and hauls and patting them on the back? I find that a strange take TBH

The mass generalisation about a club that has these issues follow them round but have the issues pushed under the carpets? Are we going to say they were the wrong fans in the wrong place at the wrong time when Man Citys coach was smashed to bits? Just one of multiple examples that could be mentioned on here

This is a site to discuss football and football incidents, not point scoring, thats ridiculous, where are the Liverpool fans on here to even point score against? And its not about flippantly bringing up disasters the point is, they should have learnt from them, any fan that tries to get into a game without a ticket or with a fake ticket should be ashamed of themselves based on their history, I stand by that

I mean they booed abide with me at the FA Cup, which was being sung by a group with disabilities, a song sung at most Hillsborough memorials....but yeh, its just other fans point scoring.

There's "not liking them" and then there's full blown hatred, beyond "banter" as Alan Partridge would say.

Of course football should allow for a bit of irrational tribalism, it's part of the experience but to this level, if this thread comes off balanced and healthy to you then okay, it reads of a deeper vitriol and it's not really up to me to try and change that.

Or they are called out for the facts

I'm sorry did I accidentally ask "Have any Liverpool fans or people from Liverpool ever done anything bad?" without realizing it?

No but you were blaming fans for being disproportionately harsh in their views where I cam arguing that maybe people see them in their true light.

Or maybe sending Gerrard death threats or Evra who was a victim of racial abuse is the norm....

I'm not blaming anyone for anything, fully aware some folks are set in their ways it's a futile case.

Letting the actions of the minority define the majority as "utter scum" did you say earlier? Sounds like a healthy way to process things and build a rhetoric, not ominous at all!

Disclaimer - I'm aware that some Liverpool fans are and have been dingdongs, and I'm not suggesting we shouldn't make fun of clubs on a footballing level.

Fortunately we're quite well stocked up front. Liverpool is going to have to spend big to replace mane. Chelsea has a cash injection and Haaland is Emirates Marketing Project, man u and arsenal both are surely be looking for better up front.

They have Diaz to replace Mane.

Same police, same stadium, same night, no issue for Real fans.

I can help you there. The architecture and policing was not the same all around the stadium.

I wish that people would take a little while to find out what actually happened rather than displaying their stunning ignorance and prejudice.

All football fans should recognise that bad policing and stewarding is potentially fatally dangerous and that it could be us next time, as it has in the past.

But these pictures don’t show Real Madrid fans trying to get in with no or fake tickets. 1000’s of Madrid fans trying to get in who had no tickets, where are the pictures for that?

There is no evidence that 1000s of Liverpool fans were trying to get into the stadium with fake tickets. Reliable first hand accounts say that the Liverpool fans were being kettled hours before kick-off, that there were only two gates into the stadium open. That ticket checks weren't being carried out but even if they were, there was no way that you could've turned around and removed people with fake or no tickets.

There were local kids trying to storm the stadium but that again is a failure of policing and can't be pinned on the Liverpool fans.

The aisles, stairs and concourses were full so there were clearly more fans in the ground than tickets...so again maybe the actions of the organisers reflected the fact too many ticketless turned up?

So what you are saying is Liverpool fans got attacked by the police for no apparent reason?
