Wonder if they'll do something similar for the last ever game here?

I know the club dont give a stuff about us but I realy hope they do a dvd of this so that everyone can have a memento of what sounds like a fantastic night.

I still can’t get over yesterday. I’ve been all over the place emotionally since. Bursting with both pride and sadness.

It might have helped healed something in me. Something that was broken in about 2007 or 2008 (by the sacking of Jol and/or the Levy letter about Berbatov and Keane; although the League Cup win between those was my second best Spurs moment ever).

I think it could be a watershed moment. Sunday marked the end – no one staying for the lap of honour etc. But then yesterday was a beginning, the joining of past and future Tottenham. The reunifying of our club – fans with players, fans with fans.

I’m probably still drunk on the euphoria, but it would be nice if it could mark the start of the rebirth of a more united and positive club.

Schadenfreude? Coming from someone who posted a thread about 'that cretinous vermin' Sherwood, this sticks in the craw somewhat.

He's one of the U18's right? That finish was brilliant although I'd be impressed if he did it in a competitive match lol

Thank you Sir, great video, great thread

Wikipedia tells me that Sicknote played nearly twice as many games as No-knees :(

"Sicknote" Darren Anderton, 471 senior games (57 goals), 30 caps (7 goals)
"No knees" Ledley King 268 senior games (10 goals), 21 caps (2 goals)

For comparison's sake, here are some Man U and England Legends that played in similar positions in similar times
Rio Ferdinand so far, 503 senior games (11 goals), 81 caps (3 goals)
David Beckham, 523 senior games (97 goals), 115 caps (17 goals)

Sicknote did actually play a LOT of games, 299 for Spurs. Probably loads as sub when he got sick though. Also had a GREAT record for England, 7 goals in 30 games is better than most England players including many strikers. Way better than Beckham.

Yes, Darren Anderton still holds the record for the number of Spurs Premier League appearances at 299, which is 23 more than Jermain Defoe.

I hated Beckham during the 98 World Cup because he and Anderton were vying for the same spot, it became even worse when he got himself sent off against Argentina
