Jose Mourinho - SACKED

It's been quite a transformation. Lots of Spurs fans, quite rightly, being concerned about the stodgy style of play last season. This season is a whole new ball game and we need to get behind this initiative. The talent has been assembled in the form Mourinho wanted and it's looking bloody exciting. You wanted Spurs style football? You got it. It comes with games like that against West Ham. It also comes with 6-1 schitt kickings of ManU. One thing's for sure: It won't be dull this season.

The "stodgy" football last season was to get Spurs over the line and as high up the league as possible.

This season Jose has been able to look at what we have in the team now and get them playing to the best of their abilities, he knows how to get the best out of a team by allowing them to do what they do best.

Anyone judging Mourinho on last season's clusterfudge was way to premature. With a totally unbalanced squad and long term injuries and suspensions to key players, he did incredibly well to get us a European place. A hint of his attacking intent came with three goals in each of the first three games and the 5-0 demolition of Burnley when he had both Kane and Son available. Now we have a much more balanced squad and it looks like exciting times ahead. Hopefully the endings to the Wet Spam and Saudi Sportswashing Machine games will prove mere aberrations in the greater scheme of things - the exception rather than the rule.

Very good post and one that could not be truer, we are a work in progress and results like West ham and Saudi Sportswashing Machine are part of that progress. With the signings we have made once all those guys have settled into the team make up i do believe we will see a very good team.

I suspect that this was why Mourinho really wanted us to achieve a Europa League place last season. Once CL was out of reach, he concentrated on getting us into Europe - even though some of our fans thought we could do with a year with no European competition. Jose knows best. (wink emoji)

I was most certainly someone who wondered if it was worth it, and he has absolutely shown me. He has me believing we will win the thing.

That was awful this evening - hopefully a one off but question marks over what he can do to change things if Son and Kane aren't blowing teams away

He did change it
The guy who took the corner was a sub wasn’t it? He changed the game just enough
The team is set up too for these guys to score those goals
