Joe Rodon

Swansea have signed Emirates Marketing Project CB Joel Latibeaudiere as a replacement.

Here's hoping Spurs have a new monster CB

I have high hopes for this transfer and am expecting this guy to turn out like another walker, maguire, robertson, maddison etc. Its why we are doing this deal because we feel he has potential to go to the very top.

Swansea have paid the price on the transfer fee as he only has two years left on his contract and also (probably to their annoyance) it was Spurs and Daniel Levy who came in for him. Had it been leicester they would have got their 20m or if it was west ham they would have probably offered 25m. But Daniel is smart and has protected us against him not realising his potential by inserting sizeable addons, that only get paid if he becomes as good as all parties hope.

Its reassuring that many of the leagues biggest clubs have pondered signing him and its down to him now to develop as we hope. He has great physical attributes and apparently mentally he is of the right stuff too. We know he has good football ability but question is how high can it go?

He now has incredible facilities, players and coaches around him and he is not 18, 19 or 20. He is 22 so we wont have to wait long to find out. Our centre back positions are also very open atm so its all there for him. I want to see this guy being talked about being an £80m player by the time he is 26.
