Well Guardiola is a Catalan separatist, but I agree with your general point.

For most coaches it's a job to do in your mid 60s when the cold and rain of the training ground becomes less appealing. Get paid to go to a top flight game once a week, then spend a month somewhere sunny every other July just trying to manage a few egos.

Is he really? How are the Catalan national team? Maybe Klopp will manage the scouse not English FC

Yeah - he kept getting fined by the FA for wearing the Catalan colours on a ribbon when the Spanish police went in to close down the 2017 referendum.

I think the England or Germany job would probably appeal to him more than the Spanish one when he is older, that's all really

This is like watching our Mourinho days! Can't string 2 passes together, no midfield at all, just soaking up pressure and praying for a cheeky counter attack or set piece goal or something.

Some of our passing and decision making has been shocking. Pickford has found touch more times than a team mate and should have saved the goal. Sterling? World beater one week, wouldn't get in a pub side the next.

What's with the constant changing of system between games? Maybe it's just the games I've watched but it seems a constant change between a back 4 and a back 3?
